Nilla was at the ranch for the Oak Star Ranch Mule and Donkey Derby. This was great exposure for her. She had a front row view of the arena's from her stall and got to experience all of the chaos of a show including loud speakers, music, etc. Laura said she handled it all really well. Hopefully she'll be that good when we go to a show.
I'm hoping to be able to go and compete at this event next year. You know, when we possess the ability to canter.
Laura also sent me this picture of Nilla being worked in the round pen. Laura is really focusing on getting her stepping under herself and going on the bit.
She's looking good and I'm really excited to go ride her again in a little over 1 week.
