If you could speak to any horse, dead or alive, what would you say?

15. If you could speak to any horse, dead or alive, what would you say?

I would go with the alive one for this. I don't need to relive heartbreak anymore than I already do. I suppose I'd like to talk to Dijon. Try to explain to him that he doesn't need to run all the time. That he cannot keep injuring himself and needs to have some sense of self-preservation. I'd also like to ask him why the hell he can trot around in the round pen, but only gaits and paces when he's being ridden. He has a gorgeous floating trot, but I've never been able to ride it.

This horse has serious buttons installed. He collects, bends, turns on fore and hind, shoulders in and out, sidepasses, does sliding stops and spins and probably can do more things I don't know how to ask for. However, I can't show him because he will not fricking trot. If I could talk to him, I would ask him what his secret trot queue is.
